One week. Just one.

One week until our new little daughter makes her appearance in this beautiful world, making it lovelier still.

I can’t wait.

No, really, I don’t think I can stand being pregnant a second longer. Just about every pregnancy symptom I have–well, I won’t get into that. ;)

But the worst “symptom” is this blasted pregnancy brain. I forget everything, can barely finish a sentence, and have called my kids just about every name but their own.

Seriously. My husband keeps telling me who I’m talking to, then asking, “Did you really mean to say that?”

Nope. No, I sure didn’t. It’s loads of fun.

But what I really wanted to tell you is that I’ll be taking a teeny-tiny break from blogging, reviewing, and writing so I can love on this girl and just get to know her.

I really can’t wait.

Please, if you need anything, feel free to contact me, but it may be a while until I can get back to you. There just may be crickets on this website for a few weeks.

One thing I will be doing during this break is reviewing the lovely Anne Elisabeth Stengl’s newest novella in the Goldstone Wood saga (seriously some of the best books I have ever read in my life!) called Draven’s Light.

Her books are worth taking a break from my break! :)

But that’s it, folks.

Well, except I plan on posting my final chapter of Wisdom & Folly: Sisters early next week instead of my usual Thursday, hopefully beating this precious little one’s introduction to our family.

I’m so excited to get to meet her!

Her room is hot pink, black, and white with Eiffel Towers plastered on every surface. My husband thinks I’ve gone a tad overboard, but no girl can have enough Paris-themed decorations, right? ;)

(And suddenly I’m looking at this site and wondering if I have a thing with hot pink, black, and white…hmmm…)

Oh yes! A publisher recently asked to review my full manuscript of Zombie Takeover. I still can’t wait to show you the gorgeous cover my cover artist Sara Helwe designed, but I need to wait the full 90 days they asked to review it before I continue pursuing self-publishing. If that’s still what God wants me to do. :)

Okay, it sounds like I’ll be pretty active on this so-called break, but the point is I’m trying to take a break. We’ll see how well it works!

Off on this newest adventure!

All of my love, and in Him,

Michele
